For a company with 10 to 150 employees, it is not cost-effective to hire a dedicated fleet manager; this task is typically assigned to one staff member. Due to a lack of time and experience, many of these tasks are neglected. This increases financial risk (expired insurance, unpaid taxes and fines, and prolonged or costly repairs). Company management also lacks accurate information about fleet management costs, so they cannot manage them effectively.
In summary, for small and medium-sized fleets, the client lacks the resources to handle the complex tasks involved in fleet management; therefore, it is advisable to outsource these tasks either partially or entirely. These tasks can vary in scope, ranging from comprehensive fleet management to simply recording receipts.

The total monthly cost of maintaining an independent fleet management position ranges from 500,000 to 1,000,000 HUF. Reducing management risks and the savings from financial control can amount to 5–10% per vehicle. The monthly management cost for an average vehicle can be around 1–5% of the TCO, depending on the scope of the task; therefore, quotes are prepared individually for each client.
